The North Alabama Hartline Reunion for 2015 was held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Highway Church of God at Fyffe, Alabama.

From Highway US 431, go 16 miles north on Highway 75.
Take a slight right turn onto County 33, “Church Road,” about 2 miles north of the traffic light in Geraldine, AL.
Go .6 miles to 515 Church Road, Highway Church of God.

About the Highway Church of God at 515 Church Road.
This church has existed for over eighty years. Some of the people who used to attend there, besides the Hartlines, were the Freeman family of Vestal Freeman Goodman, the famous gospel singer. Vestal used to sing locally and sometimes Nellie Hartline or Audie Hartline sang with her. Vestal’s brother, Cat Freeman is buried at the church cemetery. He was one of best high-tenors of gospel music. Also buried there is grandfather John Marvin Hartline and grandmother Ellen Elizabeth (Bettie) Hartline and Andy Bellamy and wife Cora Hartline Bellamy.

Report on North Alabama Hartline reunion held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Highway Church of God at Fyffe, Alabama.
There was a nice turnout and everyone had a good time visiting with family. In attendance were several who missed the year before, including Jerrell Duckworth and Sherrie, and Bill and Lucille Pace (Annie Hartline’s niece) as well as Clarence Wilkerson (nephew of Annie Hartline) and his wife Momoyo.
Also, our 90 year old matriarch of our family, Nellie Hartline was in attendance again. Telina Wilson was there, after recently having a kidney transplant and she is doing well.
I’m sure there were others that should be mentioned, unfortunately I was unable to attend and don’t have all the facts, just a brief report from my sister.
Our brother, Ray Hartline of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on August 22, 2014 and was buried at Albertville on August 26.
