Barbara Ann Hartline Gyax, age 64, of Loveland, Co. passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, USA.

Funeral services wil be at 1 pm. Saturday, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Justin Ward and Rev. Brian Williams officiating with Burial following in David Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 pm. Friday at the funeral home.

Barbara is survived by her brothers, Bobby Hartline of Gaylesville, Al; Don [Rose] Hartline of Gaylesville, Al;Jimmie [Annette] Hartline of Colorado; Gayle [Scott] Evans of Illinois and Betty [Bob] Stewart of Illinois; 17 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Barbara Ann Hartline (Ms. Gygax) was a native of Cherokee County, born in 1948, the daughter of the late Jessie Faye Hartline and Phybie Sybil Canada Hartline and was a member of Life Spring Church.

Navy Veteran Korean War, beloved husband of Nancy, nee Coffey; loving father of Thomas (Yvette), Timothy (Dena), Donna (Daniel) Kelly, Deborah (the late Michael) Marr and Michael (Laura); dearest grandfather of Ryan, Kyle, Cailey, Tyler, Benjamin, Kendall, Alyssa, Zachary and Samuel; dear brother of Robert, Denise and the late Jean; fond uncle of many.
He was a Retired Union member of Heat & Frost Insulators Local 17.
Funeral Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 9:15 a.m. from Matz Funeral Home, 3440 N. Central Ave., Chicago, Illinois to Our Lady of Victory Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Chicago.

William Henry Hartline

WILLIAM H. HARTLINE, farmer, P. O. Strasburg, was born in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, December 17, 1849, and is the eldest son of Frederick and Lovina (Fashbaugh) Hartline. His parents were both born in this county, and were known among some of the early pioneers. They reared a family of nine children, five sons and four daughters, of whom one daughter is deceased. The subject of this sketch has been twice married. His first union was to Miss Elizabeth, daughter of Jonathan Garber. She was born in Tuscarawas County in 1857, and died in 1879, leaving one child, Lizzie. In the fall of 1879, Mr. Hartline was united in marriage to Phebe, daughter of Jacob and Caroline Pfinsgtag ; she was born in 1859 in this county and State. The results of this union have been two children-Victor F. and Porter William. Mr. Hartline is occupied in farming and stock-raising, at which he has been Generally successful, and is an enterprising citizen.

Jasper Hartline


IDER - Jasper ''Jack Hartline, 81, died Tuesday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was at Ider Church of God with the Rev. Benjamin Young and the Rev. Chester Nance officiating.

Burial in Fuller Cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Hartline was a member of the Ider Church of God and a honorary member of the Ider Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Ozell '(Tique) Hartline; and one daughter, Flotilla Bedford.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Holcomb of Albertville; two sons, Eddie Hartline of Ider and Benny Hartline of Benson, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Horris H. Hartline Sr., 90, of Campbell died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Joe Arnold officiating. Burial is at 4 p.m. at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.
Born Nov. 23, 1907 in Hollis, Okla., he was the son of Moses Newton Hartline and Betty Poteet Hartline. He and Cora Lou Strickland were married Feb. 4, 1928 in McKinney. He was a farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell.
Surviving are his wife of Commerce; three sons and daughters-in-law, Horris and Winell Hartline Jr. of Sachse, Richard and Ada Hartline of Greenville and P.E. and Melba Hartline of Cumby; two brothers, Aubrey Hartline of Aquilla and Oscar Hartline of Farmersville; four sisters, Erma Kyle of Allen, Mozelle Taylor of Wylie, Hattie Stewart of Garland and Minnie Hooper of Allen; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jess Hartline, Dewey Hartline and Pete Hartline.

Clara (Hartline) Faulk- Eisele 

Clara (Hartline) Faulk- Eisele passed away peacefully in Simsbury, Connecticut on March 9, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born in Fort Payne, Alabama on Sept 20, 1916 to the late Clint and Dacie Hartline
She is predeceased by her first husband, Jesse Mack Faulk of Pensacola, Florida. They were married in Rising Fawn, Georgia on July 2, 1938 and also her second husband, George Eisele of Brooklyn,New York. Clara is also predeceased by her brothers Luke, Floyd and George Hartline and sisters Martha and Gadys Hartline and Maggie Duckworth.
Clara is survived by her daughters, Maxine Jarach and her husband Richard of Palm Beach, Florida and Debra Johnson and her husband Andrew of Simsbury, Connecticut. Also, her brother Dewey P. Hartline and his wife Lavonne, of Charleston, South Carolina, grandchildren Michele, David and his wife, Heidi, Jessie, Nathan and Emily Semas, great-grandchildren Dexter, Lucy, Damon and Quinn.
Clara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola and several charitable organizations including the Daughters of the Nile.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Lamar Bobo.
Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Hermon cemetery fund.

  Robert Neil Hartline, 87, of Cleveland, TN, died on Friday, February 6, 2009, in a local hospital.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cohutta, Georgia. He was a member of the American Legion. He was the owner of The Cleveland Dental Labatory. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.

Mr. Hartline was the son of the late Granville M. Hartline and Harriet Miller Hartline and was also preceded in death by a sister, Cheri Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Duncan Hartline of Cleveland; three children and spouses, Dr. Steve and Jan Hartline of Cleveland, Rebecca and Bob Crossland of Knoxville and Carol McNamee of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Robby Crossland and Raleigh McNamee both of Knoxville, Jake Hartline and Steve Hartline, Jr. and wife Jennifer Hartline, all of Cleveland; one great-grandchild, Gavin Key, of Walkersville, Md.; sisters, Polly Wooten and husband, Trin Wooten of Chickamauga, Ga., and Marian Jamborsky of Nashville; two brothers, Col. James H. Hartline of Chesterfield, Virginia and Frank Hartline of Cleveland; special daughter, Gena Didona-Evans of Orlando, Fla.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Trewhitt Nimmons of First Baptist Church of Cohutta officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Gene Key, Robby Crossland, Raleigh McNamee, Jake Hartline, Steve Hartline, Jr., Bob Crossland, Tony Evans and Jim Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dale Evans and Dr. James L. Bush.

Darrell G. Hartline
Darrell G. Hartline, 75, of 1407 West Cardinal Drive, Lock Haven, passed away December 2, 2014 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore, PA. He was born October 16, 1939 to the late Robert Carl and Marguerite A. (Wells) Hartline in Litchfield, Illinois. Darrell was united in marriage to Jane, A. Fesser in Nokomis IL on June 11, 1961 and was a graduate of Witt High School in Witt, IL and Southern Illinois University in 1962.
Mr. Hartline was employed at Arthur Andersen & Co., Chicago Illinois from 1962-65. He served as the CFO at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, Iowa from 1965 to 1970, he then became the Senior Vice President of finance at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester New York from 1970-92, retiring as the CFO at Lock Haven Hospital, Lock Haven, PA as the representative of Quorum Health Resources from 1992 to May of 2001.
Darrell enjoyed vacationing in Las Vegas and watching his two granddaughters play sports and spending time with his dogs.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Jane, is a son, Jeffery L. (Lynn Marie) Hartline of Fairport, New York, two grandchildren, Jessica Christ and Taylor Hartline. Also surviving is a sister Dorothy (Phil) Komnick, a niece, Doran Komnick, two nephews, Greg Johnson and Kent Johnson. He also leaves behind his two faithful dogs, Sammy & Nugget. Darrell was preceded in death by a sister in law, Jean Johnson (Fesser).
Family and friends will be received in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven Pa. Thursday evening from 6-8:00 pm.
Entombment will be in White Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum, 210 Marsh Rd. Pittsford, New York with a visitation at the Mausoleum one hour prior to services Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 12:00 noon.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest that Memorial contributions can be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.

John D. Hartline, son of the late Fred Hartline and Emma Pavey Hartline, was born on Jan. 7, 1942, at Bernie and died at his residence in Dexter on May 8, 2012, at the age of 70.
Mr. Hartline was of the Baptist faith, a former Union carpenter in Flint, Mich., a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Geralene Hicks on Dec. 8, 1961, at Dudley. Mrs. Hartline preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 2009.
He is survived by four sons, Cecil Wayne Hartline, Scott Wayne Hartline, John Skylar Hartline and John Brock Hartline all of Dexter; one daughter, Ginger Joree Demers of Dexter; two brothers, Jerry Hartline of Texas and Bruce Hartline of Bernie; two sisters, Charlotte Irish of Dexter and Barbara Putney of Flint, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Hartline; two brothers, Harold Hartline and Bob Hartline; three sisters, Diane O'Conner, Patsy Franklin, and Mary Hartline.
Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012.
Funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment in the Dudley Cemetery.

Joseph Marion Hartline
– Laurens, S.C.

Joseph Marion Hartline, age 83, of 872 Hwy 49, and husband of Brenda Gambrell Madden Hartline, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015, at Hospice of Laurens County Hospice House.
Born in McCormick, he was a son of the late Roy Lee “Tom” and Mary Sue Watkins Hartline. Joe was a veteran of the South Carolina National Guard and retired from Torrington. He was a member and deacon at Northside Baptist Church. Joe was also a member of Gideon International and Fleming Mill Christian Bluegrass Band. He was an avid hunter and co-founded L & M Hunting Club with his brother Claude. Joe was a passionate Christian and was always helping others in any way possible.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children: Deborah H. King and husband Rabbit of Laurens, and Thomas Hartline and wife Ginger of Henderson, NC; one brother, Claude Hartline and wife Martha of Laurens; two sisters, Virginia H. Smith and Faye H. Cooley and husband Ronny of Laurens; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Faye Montjoy Hartline and his brother, Roy Hartline.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Northside Baptist Church with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors.

Robert F. Hartline

Robert F. Hartline, age 73, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away February 10, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. Robert was born January 29, 1942, in Dallas County, Texas, to Robert C. and Wilma (Johnson) Hartline. He married Sharon Recer in August of 1963 at First United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. Robert graduated with the Class of 1960 from Plano High School. He was extremely grateful for his classmates’ support throughout his illness. Robert proudly served in the United States Army from 1967-1968. He owned his own electrical contracting firm early in his career and retired as an electrical engineer with MCI in 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hartline of Rowlett, Texas; son, Robert Hartline and wife, Denise of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Jana Hartline of Redondo Beach, California; grandchildren, Madeleine, Aidan, and Alex; and sister, Mary McGhee of Baker, Montana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wilma Hartline and sister, Virginia Collins.
A private memorial service will be held to commemorate Robert’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
