auto accident at Yula, FL.

He was married to Asenath (Seenie) M. Myers, born January 28, 1915 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, daughter of
Willis T. and Elizabeth M. Shambaugh Myers.

Ben and his wife both worked at Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsbury, PA. They were active Lutherans. Ben
was the tallest man in Mt. Holly Springs, PA, six feet-five and one-half inches tall. He served in WWII in the Air
Force, in Guam and in the Marianas for ten months. Ben proudly proclaimed that his great-great-grandmother,
Rebecca Grummis was believed to be a Seneca Indian.
James Benjamin Hartline died on October 12, 1980. He is buried in the Goodyear Cemetery, Gardners,
(Cumberland County) Pennsylvania.
Asenath (Seenie) Myers Hartline died February 10, 2013, age 98. She is buried in the Goodyear Cemetery,
Gardners, (Cumberland County) Pennsylvania. Obituary.

Arthur farmed in the 1940s on Sand Mountain, Alabama, north of Geraldine, Alabama. He moved to
Bessemer, Alabama in the 1950s where he worked as a welder.
Arthur Olen Hartline died in 1978. Pluma Ellen (Wright) Hartline died November 21, 2011.

Oscar P. Hartline was born June 8, 1916, a son of Moses Newton and Betty (Poteet) Hartline, in Allen, Texas.
Oscar married August 31, 1940 in McKinney, Texas to Mary Lucille Pruett, born August 17, 1920 in Pinson,
Tennessee to Clifford and Winnie May (Ivy) Pruett.
Children:
Brenda Kay Hartline, born Ca. 1941-42 and married Harold Anderson of Farmersville, Texas.
Kenneth Ray Hartline, born 1950, married Teresa.
Oscar was a WWII veteran (U. S. Army) with Patton’s 3rd Army in Europe.
After his military service, he worked for Ford Motor Company as a stock checker and retired after 20 years.
He was a member of Plano Lodge #768, Hella Temple and Scottish Rite.
Mary Lucille was retired from Texas Instruments after 20 years as an engineer. She was a member of the
Eastern Star and the Garden Club at Farmersville.
Mary Lucille (Pruett) Hartline died July 11, 2005 from cancer. She is buried at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
Oscar P. Hartline died September 6, 2011. He was 95. He is buried at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
